Lessons, not disappointments

Grateful for:

  1. Going for a ride around this part of the island. Why is it that I carry my camera with me 99% of the time and when I decide we’re just going out for 1 second and I leave it behind we drive past some of the most breathtaking views? I am learning to appreciate without the need to capture.
  2. Last day of spring, feeling very springy. Farewell, you have been a season of change for me.
  3. Getting my new portable monitor. It works although I can’t use it with neither of the laptops I am working with. Training my virtue of passion and delayed gratification.
  4. Researching volunteer work with wolves and wilderness. It really doesn’t sound like my thing but I have discovered a whole world of volunteer work travel which I am sure will come in handy in the future.
  5. Checking out accommodation for my next destination.
  6. Ordering binaural beats mediation CDs from Perfect Meditation after some careful online research and comparison with some better known brands.
  7. Sorting through the remaining photos on my hard drive. Now just need to upload them and THEN I can download and sort through the images on my camera.
  8. Making not 1 but 2 salads for lunch, a tomato/avocado and cabbage/greens/soy. Both were a breeze with the mini portable food processor I recently bought. Raw life on the go seems pretty easy to do now.
  9. Preparing a list of questions. The more I learn the more I want to know. Seems a never ending cycle to me, luckily with some really nice side effects.
  10. I love how I just don’t get upset when “life happens”.
