Grateful for:
- Being invited to a high class event to mingle with the rich and powerful. I was trying to determine whether the energy in the room was somehow different. Happy to report everybody in attendance was quite down to earth and pleasant, even the Rockefellers even though I only got to talk to a few people. The event itself was a lot of fun.
- Seeing panoramic view of New York from 18th floor.
- Being really hypnotized by The Concerto in C minor for Piano, Trumpet, and String Orchestra by Shostakovich performed live. It was truly moving.
- Getting compliments on my appearance.
- Drinking, oh it is quite fun when done once every blue moon.
- Wearing leg warmers over heels for warmth and funky look.
- Seeing sunset over New Jersey, my first one in many weeks.
- Meeting a collector who had a few pieces from Vanuatu in his collection. Always fun to meet someone who knows where I actually live and can relate at some level.
- Being of service to the event organizer by greeting guests and escorting them to their tables.
- I love how social I am.
