Grateful for:
- A friend coming by for lunch, oh the simple joys of feeding someone new!
- Making pesto pasta.
- Eating in the garden in the sun – makes food so much more tastier!
- Devising crazy business plans.
- Playing a logic game on the iPad. Each one by ourselves couldn’t figure it out but together we cracked it – a good lesson.
- Attempting to replace the aftermarket exhaust that was deemed too loud by a stock one I had to buy the other day. Resulted in stripped bolt and some lessons.
- Taking the bike to a shop to have the exhaust swapped and being charged half of the original quote. The magik of a girl on a bike!
- Being advised to swap back to the aftermarket after the inspection is over to make myself heard and noticed and thus safe. Awesome, now I have an excuse to do it!
- Going to a networking function in the city and meeting LOADS of interesting people, talking about business, property, joint ventures, Don Tolman and travelling. An evening well spent with lots of new cool people to hang out with.
- Ending up in the most unlikely of places at the end of the night – backpackers pool bar. Heeding friend’s advise to try something different I actually stayed and even more surprisingly enjoyed myself!
- Having philosophical talks left right and centre. LOVE IT! And what better place to do it if not in a bar on Friday night over a drink watching pool games. Going off on a rant along the lines of “No man is more enslaved than the one who falsely believes he is free” – I can be such a fanatic sometimes.
- Driving Daytona arcade car wearing helmet and gloves and coming second out of 3! The right gear makes all the difference.
