Market frenzy

Grateful for:

  1. Going to an open day at a crystal shop and hearing a talk on Allowing and Flow which was very concise but very powerful. Just when I begin thinking I heard it all, I hear a new and very intriguing interpretation.
  2. Going to Camberwell markets at closing time for some $1 clothes and shoes shopping.
  3. Buying myself a vintage leather motorcycle jacket! Hunted it down remembering I saw one the other week and literally found it at the last stall already packed inside the car. Now that was some serious bargain hunting and tracking, I am turning pro.
  4. Returning to the open day for some more talks, browsing and their most divine ever chai.
  5. Buying a Himalayan rock salt candle holder that emits negative ions and promotes feelings of peace and well being. It actually works! The room in the house that has one definitely has that feeling and once I got one for myself even though I had to work all day I was feeling peaceful and cool as cucumber. Highly recommended.
  6. Going to a closing of South Melbourne markets this time for $1 mountains of fruit and veg shopping. I LOVE markets!
  7. Walking barefoot down the street.
  8. Having a beer on the beach with friend. What an absolutely perfect way to end a Sunday afternoon, could not possibly imagine anything better.
  9. Going back to find an unsuspecting motorcycle rider resting on my friend’s door step. Quickly roping him in to help me change my exhaust back to aftermarket (what a saga of having to buy and fit a stock one just to get a road worthy certificate!). 3 gratitudes rolled into 1: my bike now sounds like a beast again, I did my first bike fix job, I made a friend to go riding with!
  10. And just as I thought “what a full on weekend!” the phone rang and I got invited out for a drink. It was not over yet. Had a quiet one chatting about travelling, best places to live, Vanuatu and all some such things one talks about on a Sunday night.
