Today I bought myself some warm shoos – hooray! Crocs on the outside, fake fur on the inside – I am now impenetrable to rain, hail or snow.
On recommendation from our property manager we headed into Shimo-kitazawa – off the guide book grid a bit but very close to where we are staying in Sasazuka. With the promise of lots of funky bohemian bars and cafes we had high expectations. On our first trip we only found and explored the south side which was more shops than cafes. However Will has found himself a coffee heaven in Segfredo Italian cafe claiming to have the best coffee he ever had ever. We will definitely be coming back again to explore more and have more coffee.
