Today we were invited for special Christmas lunch by our gracious Hanoi Street Hotel hosts. The owner of the hotel said she cooked for 2 days straight and it indeed was a great feast. She made sure that every guest there ate everything off the table before leaving by personally adding more and more food to their plates until all the plates were clean. Needless to say we could hardly move but were forever grateful for the kindness and hospitality they have shown us, they were the best hosts of our trip so far.
Flying out that day was the most hassle free air port departure yet for me and also the smallest airplane (Laos Airlines) I have been on to date. Still for 1 hour journey were were still fed and well looked after, and, hallelujah!, greeted by 25’C temperature when we flew into Vientiane.
